I remember before reading this book, I would go out and see a homeless person talking to themselves, and I would be legitimately frightened, as it was something of the unknown. Set during the late 18th century in England and France, he demonstrates as much skill in the detail of his story, as he did with his books recounting very early English history. Again she flew away without letting him talk you would think that the character would have learned her lesson the first couple times. This tranlastion preserves the essnces of the teachings much more than some others.
